[She answers the door of course, looking confused when it turns out there's nobody there. A prank, maybe...?

It takes her a second to notice that there is something on the ground, and it's not until she gets back into her room that she opens up the package. And when she sees what's inside...

...Well. Color her very, very confused. Wh-who would leave something so precious outside of her door-??

But there's no time for that! It takes her a little while to get through the book, but the moment she sees the part about keeping it warm, she immediately bolts to get a bundle of blankets to wrap around the egg. She's never dealt with caring for any sort of egg before, and while it's exciting to think that it will hatch someday, it's a little nerve-wracking to be in charge of it all by herself-!!
